Hay fever is caused by an allergic reaction to pollen and spores from grass, flowers, trees and scrubs.
It affects the eyes, sinuses, nose and throat.
Sufferers are affected mainly from Spring (that’s now!) until Autumn.

Itchy and watering eyes can be one of the most frustrating symptoms- but to avoid Covid19, we must avoid touching our faces, especially the areas of mouth, nose and EYES!!!
So it is vitally important to stay on top of Hay Fever symptoms by CONSISTENTLY taking/using any required treatment.

Top tips to prevent hay fever.Monitor the forecast and take particular care when the pollen count is high.
-Keep doors and windows closed at home and when driving.
-Apply a light Vaseline inside the nose to trap pollen and stop it from being inhaled.
-Wear sunglasses, preferably wraparound glasses which prevent pollen entering the eyes.
-Don’t mow the grass and avoid working in the garden.
-Don’t dry clothes outside if avoidable.
-Wash your hair, hands and face when you come back indoors and change your clothes to get rid of any pollen.
-Pharmacists also warn they as hay fever is significant trigger for asthma, asthma patients should ensure they carry their inhaler at all times and use it as prescribed.
