We have been listening to this debate for weeks, even months now. Wear them, don’t wear them, wear them, don’t wear them.
However, it appears to have settled to this;
1.Masks probably don’t give you protection from the virus, but they will minimize the release of infected droplets into the aim from infected people. Obviously if you know for certain that you are infected or that you have been in a situation where you could have been infected you should self-isolate.

2.Those of us that have to go out and about for work, medical or family reasons, should wear masks to help stem the tide of infection in case we have it unknown to ourselves.

3.Germany, who have controlled the spread of the virus with greater success than most, others have decided that anyone seen outside and without a mask will be fined.

4.BUT remember, wearing the mask just helps to prevent the spread. It is NOT 100% effective and the social distance of 2 metres apart should be maintained.

And now to GLOVES???
Quite a few people who are out and about seem to think that they don’t need to use hand sanitizer or wash their hands because they are wearing gloves. NOT TRUE!
You must observe the advice for hand-washing and the use of hand sanitizer in the same way as if you were not wearing gloves.
The virus will quite happily move from glove to infected surface to another glove in the same way as it can on hands.
PLEASE use hand sanitizer even when gloved going ‘IN AND OUT’ of any shop or business.
A good tip for hands that are in bits from washing- slip loads of hand cream on each night and put on a par of cotton gloves and let the moisturizer work its wonders while you sleep.
