-Remember your face mask MUST cover your mouth and nose. When adjusting it, don’t pull at the front of the mask, because in doing this you may infect your hand which then may infect you, or the next surface you touch. Adjust your mask by catching the ear loops only. AND DON’T forget to wash your hands thoroughly having taken off your possibly infected mask.
WE KNOW NOW THAT;
This virus is no slouch, so don’t take chances. When using hand sanitiser use plenty and make sure that it’s applied all over the hands, front and back and to the wrists. Some dispensers have mean squirts, so use two or three or whatever is required to completely cover the hands, front, back and in between the fingers.
-Let’s keep our homes as safe as possible from the infection by touching nothing at home when you return until you have washed your hands. ALSO, wash your hands after unpacking the shopping, disposing of as much of the outer packaging as possible and wiping down glass bottles, plastics etc. You can use Dettol spray that’s safe for use in the kitchen.
-Its back to school so the war against Covid-19 continues. If your school goer is a ‘faddy eater, make sure that you top up their vitamin and mineral levels by taking a multivitamin. Make sure it contains Vitamin D, the sunshine Vitamin, as shorter days + homework mean that our kids are not getting what they were over this summer (mind you, we didn’t get a lot!). Ask us in the pharmacy for the right supplements for your family.
It’s no fun but cut down on social gatherings, remembering that you are as much of a risk with a visitor(s) in your home as you are in a shop, restaurant etc. sit 2 metres apart, wear face masks when possible and have people clear their hands on arriving. Meet outside when possible!
Remember, games are often won in defense!
And this would be a really good game to win.
